Under the Ministry of Education of the Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh, a District Education Office is located in every district under the Department of Secondary and Higher Education, up to the upazila secondary education office in each of the six upazilas under the Barguna District Education Office. Head of District Education Office is the District Education Officer, Assistant District Education Officer, Research Officer, Assistant Inspector, District Training Coordinator, Assistant Programmer, Office Assistant, Data Entry Operator and MLSS.

District Education Office is mainly engaged in the management of various activities of all private educational institutions. Among the notable deeds, the MPO of the Madrasa MPO, the MPO of the madrasa MPO, the recognition of the organization, the recognition of the institution, the distribution of textbooks, the opening of the branches, appointment of the representative of the DG of teachers, the BAD scale of the teachers, the higher scale, the application of granting the time scale, the institution inspection, investigation Task management etc.
